Iran, UAE Discuss Trade and Bilateral Ties
Dubai [UAE], March 2 – Anwar Gargash, Diplomatic Adviser to the President of the United Arab Emirates, met with Majid Takht Ravanchi, Deputy Foreign Minister for Political Affairs of Iran, on Saturday to discuss key aspects of bilateral relations.
Reiterating political activities
The two officials acknowledged the progress made in the recent political dialogue between Iran and the UAE during the talks. They stressed how important the ongoing diplomatic efforts are to enhance understanding and cooperation between the parties.
Enhancing trade and economic relations
The primary objective of the meeting was to explore ways to enhance trade and economic ties between the two countries. Both sides reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening business alliances, promoting investments, and opening new avenues for profitable trade.
Discussions on regional and international topics
The officials discussed important regional and global issues in addition to their bilateral partnership. They reiterated their mutual desire to keep the lines of communication open and cooperate in addressing issues affecting the greater Middle East.
Diplomats attend summit
The two countries’ commitment to strengthening diplomatic and commercial ties was further demonstrated by high-level talks attended by Iranian Ambassador Reza Ameri and UAE Ambassador to Iran Saif Al Jaber.
