Tamil Nadu CM Stalin Announces ₹5 Lakh Aid for Families of Tamil Workers Who Died in Kuwait
Chennai, Jan. 27: Chief Minister Stalin has ordered a compensation of Rs 5 lakh each to the families of two people who died of suffocation in Kuwait.
Mohammed Yasin and Mohammed Junaid, residents of Mangalampet in Vriddhachalam, Cuddalore district. Both were working as drivers in Kuwait. On the morning of the 19th, they lit a fire in the room where they were staying to protect themselves from the severe cold.
Since they slept without putting it out, the fire went out and smoke rose. Due to this, both of them died of suffocation. The bodies of both of them were buried in Kuwait on the 22nd.
The Chief Minister has announced that the Tamil Nadu government will provide Rs 5 lakh each to the families of the two deceased from the Chief Minister’s General Relief Fund.
