Kuwait Deports Indian Man for Life After Preventing Suicide Attempt

The Kuwait Ministry of Interior (MoI) has deported an Indian national and imposed a lifetime entry ban after he attempted suicide.

According to Arabic daily Al-Rai, the incident occurred on April 2 when Coast Guard officers spotted the man on Jaber Bridge during a routine patrol. As he was ready to leap, authorities intervened just in time to thwart the suicide attempt and arrested him.

During questioning, the individual revealed that he was experiencing personal troubles and felt hopeless. Following the questioning, officials ordered his deportation and a permanent ban on his return to Kuwait.

Authorities advise anyone with mental health issues to seek professional help rather than turning to extreme means.
