Magnitude 5 Earthquake Hits Northern and Central Iran

On Tuesday, an earthquake with a magnitude of 5 struck northern and central Iran, as reported by the German Research Centre for Geosciences (GFZ). The quake occurred at a depth of 10km (6.21 miles). This follows a series of recent temblors in the region, some of which were felt by residents in the UAE.
