Kuwait Arrests Hundreds of Expats for Residency and Labor Law Violations
The Residence Investigation Department in Kuwait has taken custody of 563 expatriates from various nationalities due to violations of the Residency and Labor Law. The General Administration of Residence Affairs Investigations conducted security operations and campaigns across multiple regions, leading to the apprehension of these individuals from diverse backgrounds. These arrests are part of heightened security measures in several governorates in Kuwait, including Al-Ahmadi, the Capital, Farwaniya, Hawalli, and Al-Jahra. The detained violators are now being handed over to the appropriate authorities to initiate legal proceedings in accordance with the law.
