Expatriate Nurse Deported from Kuwait for Pro-Israel Statements
In a recent development, an expatriate nurse working at Al Sabah Hospital in Kuwait has been deported for publicly expressing support for Israel during the recent conflict with Palestine. The Ministry of Interior confirmed the nurse’s deportation after she posted a status update on WhatsApp where she referred to Palestinians as terrorists and displayed the Israeli flag.
The incident was brought to light when lawyer Bandar Al Mutairi filed a complaint against the nurse. During the subsequent investigation, the nurse did not waver in her pro-Israel stance and reiterated her position.
This is the second instance involving an expatriate employed under the Ministry of Health in Kuwait expressing controversial views on the Israel-Palestine conflict. The incident underscores the sensitivity surrounding geopolitical issues and the need for individuals working in sensitive sectors to exercise discretion in their public expressions.
