Dubai Launches Comprehensive Health Survey to Enhance Public Well-being
On September 10, the Dubai Health Authority (DHA) will start a significant health survey of locals. According to WAM, the project is a collaboration between Digital Dubai and the Dubai Statistics Center and seeks to improve public health and inhabitants’ quality of life.
Chronic illnesses and other health issues, dietary decisions, medical costs, and the standard of treatment will all be covered under four main categories. A fundamental group of tests will be included in the test without charge.
The data and information of individuals polled will be kept in absolute confidence by the authorities.
The Dubai Household Health Survey 2023 is carried out in accordance with international standards and was successfully launched in 2009, 2014, and 2019.
The field survey will focus on a variety of societal categories, including citizens and residents (children, adolescents, women, men, and the elderly), in addition to the general public and worker groups.
The preparation for the survey will be done in accordance with the highest international standards, and strong guidelines and controls will be in place to protect respondents’ privacy and confidentiality.
The procedure for doing the survey has been made easier and will be completed in a few straightforward steps beginning with completing the electronic data form and measuring health issues including diabetes and blood pressure.
Through the survey, locals will have the opportunity to identify health issues and respond quickly.
