Strategic Luncheon: Collaborative Steps Toward Regional Stability

President Sheikh Mohamed and Bahrain’s King Hamad held discussions over lunch in Manama, Bahrain, with a focus on fortifying regional security and stability in a significant development.

According to the state news agency Wam, the leaders emphasized their shared strategic vision and underscored the importance of strengthening collective efforts within the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) framework.

President Sheikh Mohamed expressed heartfelt condolences over the tragic loss of Major Abdullah Al Nuaimi, a Bahraini officer, who lost his life in a terror attack in Somalia, which also claimed the lives of four UAE Armed Forces members.

King Hamad commended the exemplary level of cooperation between their two nations and reiterated his commitment to further enhancing bilateral ties.

During his visit, President Sheikh Mohamed was given a tour of the Royal Guard headquarters, where he met with Major Nuaimi’s family and conveyed his condolences.

In the VIP register, President Sheikh Mohamed penned a message, highlighting the significance of the Royal Guard Command Building as a symbol of Bahrain’s national defense force and its pivotal role in ensuring security and stability at both national and regional levels.

Reflecting on the visit in a post on X, President Sheikh Mohamed underscored the fruitful discussions held with King Hamad, emphasizing their mutual commitment to advancing bilateral relations for the prosperity and development of their respective peoples.

He extended sincere condolences and sympathy to the family of the Bahraini martyr, Major Nuaimi, whose sacrifice epitomizes the shared values of solidarity and peace promotion in the region and beyond.
