From Tracks to Triumphs: Dubai Metro’s 14th Anniversary
The 14th anniversary of the Dubai Metro represents a significant turning point for Dubai. Since it was opened on September 9, 2009, the transportation scene has evolved.
With red and green lines around the city, the metro has developed into more than simply a means of transit; it has also become a lifesaver, rescuing locals and visitors from traffic troubles, stress, and financial constraints.
The Dubai Roads and Transport Authority’s (RTA) Dubai Metro project is among its most ambitious ones. The Metro is one of the safest, cleanest, and most convenient forms of public transportation in the world, with a daily ridership of over 1.7 million. The Red and Green lines each have two stops, for a total of 47 stations.
