Sharjah Executive Council Announces 50% Reduction in Municipal Penalties for Breaches

The Sharjah Executive Council (SEC) meeting was presided over by Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Sharjah. The SEC decided during its meeting to offer a 50% reduction on the total amount of the financial penalty for municipal breaches committed and imposed prior to the decision’s release.

They also mentioned that the promotion is good for 90 days. The Social Services Department (SSSD) is in charge of giving help to householders in the emirate who have been impacted by natural calamities, according to a decision made by the SEC.

In addition to a number of legal provisions, the decision included the requirements for requesting assistance, the Civil Defense Authority’s assessment of the effects of the damage, and the assistance owed for damages determined by the SSSD in accordance with the measures to decide the value of the assistance attached to the decision.

The Sharjah Sports Council (SSC) will now be associated with the Dog Care Center in the emirate, which is a part of the Environment and Protected Areas Authority (EPAA).
