Renowned Bahraini Artist Rashid bin Khalifa Al Khalifa Showcases ‘Parts of a Labyrinth’ in Egyptian Exhibition
The “Forever is Now” exhibition in Egypt, sponsored by UNESCO and various ministries, is a unique event that merges contemporary art with the rich historical backdrop of the Giza Pyramids. Rashid bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, a prominent Bahraini artist, has contributed a captivating installation titled “Parts of a Labyrinth” to this event.
Inspired by a mysterious tale of an undiscovered maze believed to lie beneath the desert surrounding the pyramids, Rashid’s artwork comprises 12 aluminum pieces, ranging from two to five meters in height. The intricate installation, which took four months to create in Bahrain, will return to its place of origin after the exhibition concludes on November 18.
Rashid bin Khalifa Al Khalifa expressed his deep satisfaction and pride in being part of this extraordinary exhibition, which seeks to forge a profound connection between the enduring legacy of ancient Egypt and the contemporary world of art. This event serves as a bridge between the ancient civilization of Egypt and modern artistic expression, fostering a unique and culturally rich experience for visitors.
