Oman’s Sultan Haitham Issues Royal Decree on Tax Exemption
Sultan Haitham bin Tarik of Oman has issued a Royal Decree (No. 80/2023) which places the responsibility for tax exemption in the hands of the Minister of Finance. This decree aims to streamline the process of tax exemption across various laws and Royal decrees. The decree is effective immediately upon its issuance.
Oman’s Sultan Haitham Appoints Non-Resident Ambassadors
Sultan Haitham bin Tarik of Oman has issued Royal Decree No. 81/2023 appointing several non-resident ambassadors to represent Oman in various countries. This includes diplomats who will serve as non-resident ambassadors to countries such as Ireland, Montenegro, Estonia, Lithuania, Latvia, Malta, Greece, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Albania, Romania, San Marino, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Poland, Finland, Argentina, Paraguay, Peru, Bolivia, Chile, Liechtenstein, the Vatican City State, Belarus, and Andorra. The decree is effective immediately upon its issuance.
