Oman’s Airports Welcome New Licensed Taxi Services for Enhanced Travel Experience
Two companies have been granted licenses to provide taxi services at Oman’s airports, according to the ministry of transportation, communications, and information technology.
According to the government, the two licensed businesses were given permission to oversee the services after demonstrating compliance with all Land Transport Law standards and rules and a pledge to include all existing taxi owners operating at Omani airports in the applications.
With the primary goal of enhancing Oman’s public transportation system, the parties given the licenses committed to educating and advancing the skills of the taxi owners and drivers in this market sector. They also agreed to meet all technical standards outlined by the Ministry in the license.
The two licenses were given to Ubar Smart Cities Company and Cloud World Company, both of which were identified by the “Otaxi” application.Prior to the beginning of each journey, the value of the taxi service is decided at a set price as part of the management process.The procedure assures the client’s security and privacy.
