Oman to Host Annual Meeting of Sovereign Wealth Funds

Represented by the Oman Investment Authority (OIA), the Sultanate of Oman is set to host the annual meeting of the International Forum of Sovereign Wealth Funds (IFSWF) in November 2024. This meeting, scheduled to take place in Muscat, provides an opportunity to promote Oman and attract foreign investments.
Nasser Suleiman Al Harthy, Vice President of OIA for Operations, stated that the forum will be attended by heads of some of the largest sovereign wealth funds in the world, collectively managing wealth exceeding $8 trillion.
The event will serve as a platform for building a network of relations with these establishments and showcasing Oman’s natural resources and investment advantages. This initiative aims to strengthen the country’s presence on the global stage, attract foreign capital, and create opportunities for long-term partnerships that will contribute positively to Oman’s economic diversification and national economic growth.
