Gaza: Kuwait will fund a project to send senior students from medical colleges across Palestine to Gaza hospitals, state news agency Quna reported on Saturday.

Initiated by the University College of Applied Sciences (UCAS) in Gaza and funded by the International Islamic Foundation of Kuwait, it aims to house 350 Palestinian students expected to graduate this year in Gaza hospitals. An ongoing war.

In a statement, UCAS Vice-Chancellor Mohammed Mushtaha said the programme, which sees young medical trainees in Gaza hospitals for five months, gives talented students the opportunity to gain real-life experience in a challenging environment and improve their clinical skills. while responding to the growing need for medical care in the war-torn enclave.

Mushtaha thanked the Kuwaiti government for supporting the Palestinians in all fields.
