His Highness Shaikh Nasser, Representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Works and Youth Affairs, and Chairman of Bapco Energies, graced the prestigious ADIPEC 2023 event in Abu Dhabi, UAE. Accompanied by HE Dr. Mohamed bin Mubarak Bin Daina, Minister of Oil and Environment, Special Envoy for Climate Affairs, and representatives from Bapco Energies Group, HH Shaikh Nasser’s presence underscored Bahrain’s active role in addressing global energy challenges.
With the theme “Decarbonize Faster, Together,” ADIPEC 2023 called on energy leaders worldwide to take unified action in the face of the current energy crisis. HH Shaikh Nasser’s participation emphasized Bahrain’s commitment to the energy trilemma and highlighted the crucial importance of fulfilling the Kingdom’s COP26 pledge. This pledge encompasses achieving net-zero emissions by 2060, reducing emissions by 30 percent, and doubling investments in renewable energy by 2035.
