The Routes:

1. *Sheikh Zayed Road Course (12 km):* Tailored for experienced cyclists, this thrilling 12 km route spans from Dubai World Trade Centre to Safa Park. It includes a picturesque ascent over the Dubai Canal Bridge, offering breathtaking views of the city. With five starting points, riders can embark on this challenging journey from various iconic locations.

2. Downtown Family Route (4 km): Perfect for families and riders of all skill levels, this scenic 4 km route winds along Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Boulevard. Starting at Dubai Mall, participants will pedal past renowned landmarks like Dubai Mall, Dubai Opera, and the towering Burj Khalifa. This flat course promises a delightful ride for riders of all ages.

In 2022, the event saw an unprecedented turnout, with 34,897 cyclists coming together to celebrate community and fitness.

Dubai Ride is a pivotal event within the Dubai Fitness Challenge, an initiative launched by His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum. Ahmed Al Khaja, CEO of Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment (DFRE), emphasized the event’s significance, stating, “Dubai Ride, presented by DP World, has become a cornerstone event on the Dubai Fitness Challenge calendar.” He added, “It stands as a symbol of the city’s unwavering commitment to health and fitness.”

Last year, families from across the UAE gathered in Dubai to participate in this iconic ride. Saeed Hareb, Secretary General of Dubai Sports Council, highlighted the event’s inclusive nature, saying, “Cycling enthusiasts from diverse backgrounds and nationalities… eagerly anticipate this event.”
