Peter Connerton, Event Director of the Dubai Marathon, expressed gratitude to the Dubai Sports Council, Dubai Police, Dubai RTA, and Dubai Municipality for their collaboration in facilitating the 2024 event. He acknowledged the significance of the longstanding course and highlighted the need for coordination with various government departments to conduct a major international marathon within the bustling metropolis of Dubai.
Saeed Hareb, Secretary General of the Dubai Sports Council, emphasized the importance of city-wide support for the Dubai Marathon, recognizing it as one of the largest annual sporting events. The course for the 2024 edition will see runners commencing and concluding their races near the Dubai Police Academy on Umm Suqeim Road.
