Dubai Police’s Advanced Vehicle Ghiath Now Available for Public Purchase
Dubai Police’s cutting-edge and high-tech vehicle, Ghiath, equipped with advanced cameras and sensors, is now open for public and commercial sale. The Ghiath VIP is priced at Dh550,000 and is available for purchase by individuals in the UAE and beyond.
Originally designed and developed for Dubai Police to meet the demand for innovative mobile policing solutions, Ghiath is now available for public ownership. The vehicle features a 5.61 V8 engine, a 140-liter tank, and a towing capacity of 3,500kg. Its interior boasts a 15.6-inch central display infotainment screen, a 10.5-inch multipurpose screen with night vision, and a digital cluster gauge with a custom user interface. Ghiath VIP is equipped with regular cameras as well as night vision cameras.
Buyers can choose from eight colors, including gun black, Arabian sand, Siberian white, arrow grey, forest green, dark blue, navy blue, and Havanna red. Launched in collaboration with Dubai Police, W Motors, Nissan, and Arabian Automobiles, Ghiath VIP is entirely made of carbon fiber.
The vehicle has already garnered strong interest from local and foreign governments. Hussam Baghdadi, senior director at Arabian Automobiles, anticipates that VIPs and royals will be driving Ghiath VIP on Dubai roads. The vehicle is the first car built in Dubai, using the base of the Nissan Patrol, and has garnered interest from various countries, including those in the Gulf, Morocco, France, and the United States.
Major Engineer Umar Khawaja of Dubai Police noted that Ghiath VIP is part of the Dubai government’s public-private partnership initiative, and there are plans to export the vehicle to Morocco in the coming weeks.
