WHO Delegation Visits Wadd Health Village in Oman
A delegation from the World Health Organization (WHO) office in Oman conducted a visit to the Wadd Health Village in the Wilayat of Sur, located in the governorate of South Al Sharqiyah. The purpose of the visit was to assess the various initiatives and projects implemented within the health village.
The program itinerary encompassed a comprehensive presentation on health indicators and community-driven initiatives associated with the project. Additionally, the delegation toured the village’s facilities, including a notable walkway project, which was executed by the Al Jisr Foundation.
The WHO delegation included Dr. Jean Yaacoub Jabbour, WHO Representative for Oman, Saud Amer Al Nadhairi, Director General of Health Services in the Governorate of South Al Sharqiyah, and Sheikh Dr. Hilal Ali Al Habsi, Wali of Sur.
