UAE Welcomes Agreement Between Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, and Uzbekistan

UAE Supports Central Asian Cooperation and Regional Stability

Abu Dhabi [UAE], April 2: The UAE has warmly welcomed the recent agreement reached by Tajikistan, the Kyrgyz Republic, and the Republic of Uzbekistan to establish a tri-national border link point. Furthermore, the signing of the Khujand Declaration of Eternal Friendship between these countries is an important step toward regional cooperation and stability in Central Asia.

Ahmed bin Ali Al Sayegh, Minister of Foreign Affairs, expressed the UAE’s confidence that the agreement will strengthen cooperation and promote development in Central Asia. He stressed the potential of these measures to foster peace, prosperity and stability not only in the region but also globally.

Al Sayegh reiterated the UAE’s long-standing relationship with the three Central Asian countries and its unwavering support for their efforts to promote peace and prosperity. He stressed the importance of peaceful dialogue as a fundamental method for effectively addressing crises and difficulties.

This diplomatic achievement demonstrates the UAE’s commitment to regional reconciliation and its role in supporting positive international relations through multilateral cooperation.
