Saudia, the national airline of Saudi Arabia, has started direct flights from Riyadh Jeddah to Vienna. Vienna services from Riyadh will start in June

Direct services to Vienna aim to strengthen presence in Europe. Saudia’s SV 151 service from Jeddah’s King Abdulaziz International Airport to Vienna International Airport was conducted yesterday.

There are 3 times a week service from Jeddah to Vienna. Direct flights to Vienna from King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh will start from June.
The airline had earlier announced new services to Vienna, Athens, Nice, Malaga and Bali this year. Services to Vienna are part of this. On March 31, 3 weekly services to Bali were started from King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah.

As part of this year’s network expansion, the airline is in the process of starting more services to Antalya in Turkey and Salal in Oman. The airline will start direct services to more cities, which will benefit Saudi expatriates and businessmen who take vacation trips to European countries.

The year-on-year increase in the number of international travelers is 16 percent in 2024. According to the National Tourism Policy of Saudi Arabia, 150 million tourists are expected to visit the country annually by 2030. The introduction of direct services to more cities is in line with the objectives of the National Tourism Policy. Saudia currently operates services to 100 cities.
