UAE to Provide Urgent Medical Care to a Thousand Palestinian Children from Gaza

In a significant humanitarian effort, the UAE government, under the directive of President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, has announced plans to bring a thousand Palestinian children from the war-torn Gaza Strip to the UAE for urgent medical treatment. This initiative reflects the UAE’s commitment to providing relief to those in need, particularly the young, in the face of the severe humanitarian challenges they are enduring.
The decision was conveyed during a phone call between Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, and Mirjana Spoljaric, the president of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC). The conversation also emphasized the necessity of ensuring the safe and unobstructed delivery of humanitarian aid and medical assistance to civilians in Gaza. Both parties underscored the importance of enhancing regional and global cooperation to bolster the humanitarian response and meet the requirements of those affected by the crisis. This initiative is a testament to the UAE’s ongoing dedication to making a positive impact on the lives of those in dire circumstances.
