UAE President Receives Invitation from Kuwaiti Emir for GCC Summit in December 2024
Abu Dhabi [United Arab Emirates], November 18: The President of the United Arab Emirates, Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, has received a written message from the Emir of Kuwait, Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah. The Supreme Council of the Heads of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) is scheduled to be hosted by the State of Kuwait on 1 December 2024. The message is also about the historical and brotherly relations between the two countries and their people.
Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan was given this message while welcoming Kuwaiti Foreign Minister Abdullah Ali Abdullah Saleh Al-Yahya in Abu Dhabi today.
H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Abdullah Al-Yahya reviewed the results of the state visit of President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan to the State of Kuwait on November 10 and its important role in promoting avenues of cooperation. UAE-Kuwait strategic partnership, in light of the strong historical brotherly ties between the two brotherly countries.
During the meeting, HH Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed expressed his pride in the excellent brotherly relations between the two countries, their leaders and people.
H.H expressed his hope for further growth and prosperity in cooperation and partnership between the UAE and Kuwait at all levels, bringing benefit and prosperity to their people.
The two ministers discussed mutual interests related to joint GCC work and broader developments in the regional and international arena.
Union Minister Sheikh Shakhboot Bin Nahyan Al Nahyan attended the meeting.
