The UAE has launched a Golden Visa specifically for content creators, granting them permanent residency without the need for a national sponsor. Granting residency for five to 10 years, the Golden Visa gives artists the opportunity to develop their careers in a vibrant and vibrant environment. Successful applicants can ensure a secure and inspiring lifestyle by sponsoring their spouses, children of any age, and parents.
Creative professionals of all types are welcome to apply, including writers, filmmakers, influencers, photographers, and digital storytellers. Achievements, honors, or recognition in the field, and a significant influence in the creative industry are prerequisites for eligibility. Since the visa is renewable, creators can stay in the UAE as long as they meet the requirements.
The application process is supervised by the Creators Headquarters, an official organization in charge of reviewing and approving entries. Content producers that are interested can apply online. They will receive an email verifying their eligibility after submitting their work and credentials. Candidates must provide the necessary paperwork, including their passport, Emirates ID (if applicable), photo, and the results of any medical exams, if they are accepted.
The final steps include obtaining a new Emirates ID at the Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs and Port Security and printing the visa at the Services 1 Center.
Before applying, individuals who are currently in the UAE on another visa must cancel their current residence permit. Prior to submission, the visas of any dependents sponsored by the applicant must also be revoked.
This initiative reinforces the UAE’s commitment to becoming a global hub for creative professionals, offering content creators not just a place to work, but a thriving community that fosters growth, innovation, and long-term success.
