Abu Dhabi Hosts Second Edition of Global Health Week, Spotlighting Innovation and Collaboration in Healthcare


Abu Dhabi [UAE], April 15: At the ADNEC Center in Abu Dhabi, the second Abu Dhabi Global Health Week (ADGHW) officially got underway today. The event brings together a global community of health experts and innovators and is sponsored by Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council.

More than 15,000 attendees and 325 international exhibitors are expected to attend ADGHW 2024, which runs until April 17. The conference is emerging as a thriving hub for information sharing, business partnerships and innovative conversations to address the most pressing health issues facing the world.

Four key themes are at the heart of this year’s agenda. The first, Personalized Precision Medicine and Health Longevity, explores how personalized strategies can impact healthcare in the future. The second, The Need for Strong, Flexible Healthcare Infrastructures, emphasizes healthcare system resilience and sustainability. The third theme, Artificial Intelligence and Digital Health, focuses on how new technologies are changing the way patients are treated. Finally, Investing in Health and Life Sciences emphasizes how money is key to driving innovation in the global healthcare system.

With a look towards the future, ADGHW 2024 highlights Abu Dhabi’s commitment to influencing the next wave of medical technology, systems, and international collaboration.
