Dubai Crown Prince Appoints New CEOs for Government Entities

Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defense and Chairman of the Dubai Governing Council, has announced a series of decisions regarding the appointment of new CEOs for Dubai government agencies.

Sheikh Hamdan issued Executive Council Decision No. (54) of 2024 regarding the appointment of Issam Abdulrahim Qasim as CEO of Tourism and Commerce Marketing of Dubai Corporation; and Decision No. (55) of 2024 naming Mohammed Abdullah Shail Alzadi as CEO of the Dubai Corporation for Consumer Protection and Fair Trade; And 2024 decision no. (56) Dubai appointed Essa Harab Khalifa bin Hatar as CEO of the Economic Strategy Department of the Department of Economy and Tourism.

He issued Decision No. (57) of 2024 regarding the appointment of Sahiya Sajjad Ahmed as Chief Executive Officer of Regulatory Policy and Administration of the Dubai Economy and Tourism Department; and Decision No. (58) of 2024 appointing Saad Mohammed Al Awadi as CEO of Corporate Support Services in the Dubai Economy and Tourism Department. Meanwhile, 2024 decision no. (59) To appoint Khalid Hassan Mohammed Mubasheri as the Chief Executive Officer of the Department of Law and Disputes at the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism.

Result no. (54), (55), (56), (57), (58), and (59) shall come into force from April 1, 2024, and shall be published in the Official Gazette.

Sheikh Hamdan issued Decision No. (60) of 2024 appointing Yusuf Ahmed Yusuf Abdullah Lootah as Chief Executive Officer of Strategy and Corporate Performance in the Dubai Economy and Tourism Sector. This decision will come into effect from October 1, 2024 and will be published in the Official Gazette.
