The announcement states, “In accordance with Ministerial Decision No. 380 of 2022, and Central Law No. 2 of 2018 on Integrated Waste Management, the UAE A ban on the use of single-use plastic bags has been imposed in all shopping centers and outlets in the Emirate of Ajman in an effort to get rid of plastic bags. This decision will come into effect from January 2024.”
