The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) has issued a fog warning for parts of the UAE, particularly in Abu Dhabi, including the Corniche, Al Dhafra, Arjan, and Abu Al Abyad Island regions. The yellow alert is in effect until 10 a.m. on Tuesday.
Abu Dhabi Police have implemented speed limit reductions on select roads due to reduced visibility caused by fog. Sections of Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed International Road and Bida Al Mutawa Road have temporarily reduced speed limits to 80 kmph as a safety precaution.
The foggy conditions are expected to persist until Saturday, according to NCM forecasts. Daytime temperatures in Abu Dhabi are projected to reach a peak of 26°C until Thursday, dropping to as low as 16°C in the evenings.
Rainfall is also anticipated in parts of the country on Thursday and Friday, accompanied by a decrease in temperatures. In Dubai, a high of 27°C is predicted for Saturday, according to Accuweather.
