Saudi Arabia’s Jeddah Tower Project Resumes, Aiming for New Heights

Construction on the ambitious Jeddah Tower project in Saudi Arabia, set to become the world’s tallest building, is back on track. Jeddah Economic Company (JEC) has officially issued the tender for contractors, with bidding expected to conclude by the end of this year. A select group of prominent companies has been invited to participate in the bidding process. Contractors have been granted three months to prepare their bids, and it’s anticipated that joint ventures involving both local and international partners will emerge. The Jeddah Tower will reach a height of over 1,000 meters, overshadowing Dubai’s Burj Khalifa by more than 172 meters. This iconic tower will serve as the centerpiece of the vast Jeddah Economic City development, featuring a range of amenities, including shopping centers, upscale boutiques, fine dining establishments, tennis courts, and more. Additionally, it will house a luxurious Four Seasons hotel, office spaces, and condominiums. The tower’s observation deck will be the highest ever constructed, providing breathtaking views.
