Ministry of Health Launches Anti-Bullying Campaign to Safeguard Student Well-being

The Ministry of Health has initiated an anti-bullying awareness campaign in schools with the objective of protecting the mental well-being of students and diminishing incidents of bullying. The campaign imparts knowledge to students about the various forms that bullying can take, its impacts, and how to address it. Parents, on the other hand, are informed about the gravity of bullying and their vital role in addressing the issue.

The campaign has outlined key indicators that suggest a student may be experiencing bullying, which include physical injuries, declining academic performance, signs of anxiety and mood swings, and alterations in eating habits. The ministry urges students facing bullying to communicate with their teachers, parents, or any trusted individuals, and to refrain from responding to the bully or being alone with them.

Furthermore, the ministry has called upon teachers and school principals to actively involve students and parents, encouraging them to contribute to the collective efforts against bullying. This campaign is a significant step towards creating a safer and more supportive educational environment for students.
