High-level summit to explore trade, tech, energy, and innovation partnerships amid growing Indo-UAE collaboration

India-UAE ‘Partners in Progress’ Conclave Set to Strengthen Bilateral Ties in Dubai on May 15
On May 15, Dubai will host the first-ever India-UAE: Partners in Progress Conclave, which will bring together leading business executives, policymakers, and innovators from both countries to fortify strategic collaboration in important areas.
Despite ongoing geopolitical concerns in the region, the event, organised by India Today Group in association with the UAE India Business Council – UAE Chapter (UIBC-UC), is going ahead as planned. UIBC-UC was established in 2023 with the support of the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of the UAE and India. Its mission is to facilitate cross-border cooperation and create significant commercial ties.
The high-profile gathering follows the Crown Prince of Dubai’s recent visit to India, during which a series of significant agreements were signed — including an MoU between the UAE-India Friendship Hospital and Dubai Health. This agreement, made possible by UIBC-UC, demonstrates the growing focus on practical cooperation in the healthcare sector and other important sectors.
The conference will focus on new possibilities within the India-UAE Economic Corridor, with topics including trade diversification, energy transition, tourism, technological advancement and startup innovation serving as key topics of conversation.
India Today Group Chairman and Editor-in-Chief Aroon Purie will open the event, followed by keynote speeches from UAE Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan and Minister of State for Foreign Trade Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi.
Prominent Indian leaders such as former Union minister Rajeev Chandrashekhar, Consul General in Dubai Satish Kumar Sivan, Ambassador to the UAE Sunjay Sudhir, and former Ambassador Navdeep Suri will also attend the conclave. It is anticipated that these individuals will help shape the next stage of Indo-UAE strategic engagement.
The conference represents a significant advancement in strengthening India-United Arab Emirates economic and diplomatic ties with its emphasis on innovation and useful collaborations.
