India and France Strengthen Defense Ties: Emphasis on Bilateral Initiatives and Ongoing Engagements

The India-France Military Cooperation Seminar (MSC) took place on October 16 to 17, focusing on advancing bilateral defense initiatives and reinforcing ongoing engagements. The MSC serves as a platform for regular strategic and operational discussions between the HQ Integrated Defense Staff of India and the Joint Staff HQ of the French Armed Forces. Earlier, on October 12, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh met with French Armed Forces Minister Sebastien Lecornu in Paris, underscoring the deepening partnership between the two nations. Singh expressed that the India-France strategic alliance has grown in relevance over the years.
