Munich Auto Show Highlights Future of Automotive Technology

Munich has officially opened the International Automobile Show. By 2030, the government wants 15 million electric vehicles and 1 million charging stations to be on German roads, according to Chancellor Olaf Scholz, who spoke at the event’s launch. German auto suppliers and manufacturers were lauded by the chancellor for their superior work. Furthermore, Scholz said that the Chinese wished to establish themselves in the German automotive sector.

At the international auto exhibition, there are also Chinese automakers present. Chancellor Scholes arrived for the inauguration with a patch over his wounded right eye after tripping while running. Scholes spent two hours exploring the exhibit halls after the opening ceremony.
