In a significant move to bolster its presence in the Asia-Pacific region, Gulf Air has announced its expansion plans into China, slated to commence in January 2024. This strategic step aligns with Gulf Air’s vision to enhance connectivity and support the One Belt, One Road initiative of China.
The announcement was made at the Bahrain-China Investment Forum, a platform hosted by the Economic Development Board of Bahrain, and led by H.E. Abdulla bin Adel Fakhro, Minister of Industry and Commerce.
With the introduction of flights to Guangzhou and Shanghai, Gulf Air is set to fortify the longstanding bilateral trade and tourism relations that span over three decades. The flight schedule has been meticulously designed to facilitate seamless connections between China and Gulf Air’s extensive network in the Middle East and Europe, offering passengers optimal convenience.
The flights will be operated using the cutting-edge Boeing 787 Dreamliner, featuring two meticulously crafted cabins. The business-class cabin boasts spacious premium seats, providing travelers with a truly exceptional experience. Additionally, the economy-class cabin is equipped with state-of-the-art seating, ensuring a comfortable journey for all passengers.
