In a humanitarian effort, five planes carrying 100 tons of various foodstuffs for the people of Gaza from Oman arrived in Egypt. The initiative was conducted by the Omani Charitable Organization (OCO) in coordination with the Embassy of the Sultanate of Oman in Cairo and the Egyptian Red Crescent. The food aid is intended for the Palestinian people in the occupied Gaza Strip.
The OCO stated that the air bridge, consisting of five aircraft, landed at the Egyptian Arish Airport. The aid will be delivered through the Rafah crossing to the Palestinian Red Crescent for distribution to shelter centres in Gaza. The OCO emphasized its ongoing efforts to distribute food meals within the Gaza Strip to displaced families in shelter centres resulting from the conflict in the region.
