Road Closures Announced for Dubai Ride Cycling Event
There will be road closures on Sunday morning to make way for the Dubai Ride cycling event.
Sheikh Zayed Road will be closed between Business Center Roundabout and Second Bridge from 3:30am to 10:00am, and Lower Financial Center Street between Sheikh Zayed Road and Al Khail Road will also be closed.
Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Boulevard will also be closed in one direction.
The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has advised motorists to take alternative routes. These include Al Mustaqbal Road, Al Wasal Road and Al Khail Road.
The annual Dubai Ride, the highlight of the Dubai Fitness Challenge, invites cycling enthusiasts of all ages to take part in a unique ride through the heart of the city.
It has two routes to accommodate participants of various fitness levels, making it an inclusive event for the entire community.
