Dubai Customs Foils Drug Smuggling Attempt at DXB Airport
Description: Dubai Customs intercepted a traveler at Dubai International Airport (DXB) arriving from a European country who attempted to smuggle hallucinogenic pills, stamps, and powder, along with crack cocaine and crystal methamphetamine. The haul included 292 pills, 5 stamps, and 13.84 grams of hallucinogenic substances, in addition to 7.38 grams of crack cocaine and 274.59 grams of crystal methamphetamine. Khaled Ahmed, director of the Passenger Operations Department at Dubai Customs, highlighted the rigorous efforts and advanced technology employed by customs officials to combat drug smuggling and protect society from such illegal activities.
