Dubai Airshow 2023: Shaping the Future of Aerospace
Under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Dubai Airshow, the world’s leading event for the aerospace, space, and defence industries, will kick off on November 13 at Dubai World Central. Themed ‘The Future of the Aerospace Industry,’ the 18th edition will run until November 17, with more than 1,400 exhibitors from 95 countries and over 300 international speakers participating.
The event aims to identify future trends, explore opportunities, and push the boundaries of sustainable innovation in aviation, space, and defence. The static display will showcase over 180 commercial aircraft, including Airbus A320P2F, A321neo, A330neo, Airbus A400M Atlas CMk1, H225 (Helicopter), C295, Embraer’s E195-E2, Boeing’s 777-9, and more. Leading and new airlines, such as Saudia and Beond, will feature state-of-the-art aircraft, and the advanced aerial mobility pavilion will highlight the latest eVTOLs, drones, and UAVs.
With an increased focus on space exploration, the Dubai Airshow will host an expanded space pavilion, featuring a dedicated two-day conference program in partnership with the UAE Space Agency. The event will showcase the agency’s latest initiatives, including the Emirates Mission to the Asteroid Belt, Planet X Challenge, and Space Economic Zones program. Additionally, the Airshow will spotlight advancements in sustainable aviation fuel and cleaner forms of aviation technology, aligning with the UAE’s Year of Sustainability.
