Bahrain Labour Ministry Takes Firm Action Against Non-Compliant Training Institutions

The Ministry of Labour in Bahrain, under the leadership of Minister Jameel Humaidan, has embarked on a proactive drive to withdraw licenses from several private training institutions within the country. Notably, the Gulf Institute for Culinary Arts Training LLC and the Peroveritas Training Centre are among the institutions affected by this decision.

The Gulf Institute for Culinary Arts Training LLC saw its license revoked following the identification of significant violations during an inspection visit, which were further substantiated during a subsequent re-visit. These breaches encompassed the absence of a physical headquarters and an expired license, as reported by the ministry.

Similarly, the Peroveritas Training Centre faced the withdrawal of its license due to infractions including the relocation of its approved headquarters without prior notification to the Ministry, coupled with the absence of a functional training and administrative body.

These stringent measures underscore the Ministry of Labour’s unwavering commitment to upholding compliance standards within the realm of private training institutions in Bahrain. By taking resolute action against non-compliant entities, the Ministry aims to ensure the integrity and quality of training offerings in the country.
