As the Ruler of Abu Dhabi, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, who is also the President of the UAE, has issued a law to establish the Department of Government Enablement – Abu Dhabi. This department is tasked with several key objectives: to provide services to Abu Dhabi Government entities that enhance human capital and digitization, deliver digital government services, and foster cooperation to enhance efficiency and productivity across government entities.
This new department will take the place of several existing entities, including the Department of Government Support, Human Resources Authority – Abu Dhabi, Abu Dhabi School of Government, and Abu Dhabi Digital Authority. The Statistics Centre – Abu Dhabi will also operate as an affiliate entity under this new department. This reorganization is a significant step toward enhancing government services and fostering efficiency in Abu Dhabi’s public sector.
