The Abu Dhabi City Municipality (ADM) has reaffirmed its commitment to enforcing a rule prohibiting workers’ housing at construction sites, instead mandating that they be accommodated in designated labor facilities. This measure aligns with existing laws in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi and aims to safeguard the health and safety of workers, providing them with a positive and conducive living environment. The Municipality conducted an awareness campaign, which included on-site inspections of construction sites and labor accommodations, to educate real estate owners and companies about compliance with regulations. The campaign emphasized the legal consequences of housing workers on construction sites and advocated for providing suitable living conditions. The ADM plans to conduct similar campaigns throughout the year to uphold the appearance of Abu Dhabi and ensure the well-being of workers and the community.
