As most blue-collar workers do not have adequate dental insurance and often forego necessary dental care, including doctor appointments and full-mouth oral screenings, Tumbe Dental Clinic ensures that everyone deserves high-quality dental care, regardless of financial situation, according to Medical Director Dr. Dhanavanthi Bangera. .

Also, the initiative is said to benefit dental students and interns at the College of Dentistry, Gulf Medical University (GMU).

Commenting on this service, Paisa Kaminzada, a Dental Trainee at GMU, said that her six-year learning and educational journey has given her the opportunity to cater to a wide variety of patients and their individual needs through sophisticated dental training provided by experienced faculty at GMU.

Hundreds of workers benefit from free dental services here every week. One of them, Mohammad Akram, a construction worker living in Sharjah, said he had been suffering from toothache for a long time but was always reluctant to see a dentist.

In this case, one of his colleagues told him about a dental clinic in Ajman and recommended him to go there for treatment. After that, Akram took a day off from work and went to Tumbe Dental Hospital.

Akram also said that the dentist there performed root canal treatment on him. He also thanked GMU and Tumbai Dental Hospital for providing free dental services.
