3.3 million passengers to come back in 13 days, DXB ready to challenge.

It is said that UAE residents who have gone on holiday to other countries during this time will return in the coming days as the summer holidays in the UAE are over and schools are reopening. In this regard, it has been reported that DXB, the world’s most important international airport, is ready to welcome 3.3 million passengers in 13 days. Due to this, the following important tips have been issued by the airport to the passengers to avoid crowding.
This means that child passengers between the ages of 4 and 12 years old at DXB can self-stamp their passports upon arrival at Terminals 1, 2 and 3 using passport control counters specially installed for them.
Meanwhile, those traveling with families and passengers above 12 years of age can use smart gates to speed up the passport control process.
According to the DXB website, the smart gates will also allow registered travelers to easily pass passport control without having to scan a document by simply facing the green light.
The airport’s average daily traffic is expected to reach 258,000 passengers in the coming days, with August 26 and 27 expected to be the busiest days with more than half a million passengers arriving, Dubai International Airport said in a statement on Wednesday.
In such a critical situation, the airport is said to be working with airlines, control authorities and business and service partners to ensure seamless travel for passengers.
Additionally, residents picking up guests from the airport are reminded to use DXB’s designated car park or valet services. Similarly, access to the visitors’ forecourts at Terminals 1 and 3 is limited to public transport and other authorized airport vehicles.
It is also advised to follow the following two tips to avoid traffic congestion at the airport. They are:
- The road passing through the airport is busy during such peak hours. So, use Dubai Metro which has stations at DXB Terminals 1 and 3 as far as possible.
- Passengers can hire taxis or car through ride-hailing apps.
Dubai International Airport has retained its position as the world’s best airport for international passenger traffic for the ninth year in a row. It is also noteworthy that the airport has welcomed 66 million passengers by 2022.
