Umm Al Quwain Announces 50% Discount on Traffic Violations Ahead of UAE’s 52nd National Day

To mark the 52nd National Day in the UAE, Umm Al Quwain authorities are introducing a 50% discount on traffic violations in the emirate. The initiative, launched by the General Command of Umm Al Quwain Police, is applicable to all types of violations committed in the emirate before November 1, 2023. The discount, excluding severe infractions, will be valid from December 1, 2023, to January 7, 2024. The goal is to enhance compliance with traffic regulations and encourage individuals to address outstanding violations during this specified period. Certain violations, such as endangering lives, causing damage to public or private facilities, overtaking red lights, and exceeding the speed limit by more than 80 km/h, are not included in the discount.
