UAE’s “Money Majlis” Becomes a Top Business Podcast

Veteran banker Suvo Sarkar announced that his newly launched podcast, “Money Majlis”, focusing on banking and innovation, has become one of the top five business podcasts streaming from the UAE. It stands out as the only locally produced podcast in the top ten.
This fortnightly podcast, the first of its kind in the region, features conversations between Sarkar and various regional and international industry leaders. Topics include banking, finance, fintech and digitization.
Notable guests and founders include Jayesh Patel of Vio Bank, Suhail Bin Tarraf, of FAP, Jan Pilbauer of Al Etihad Payments, Raja Rajamannar of Mastercard and Harith Talwar, Founding Chairman of Marcus. The upcoming episodes will feature the global CEOs of IBM, DBS Bank and Kotak Mahindra Bank.
“Money Majlis is a passion project for me,” says Sarkar, who has 37 years of banking experience and previously led the retail business of a large regional bank. “I am excited to bring real and important conversations on banking topics to my listeners in the GCC. The podcast also serves as financial education to thousands of consumers in the region.
