Dubai Welcomes Chinese Travelers for 75th National Day Celebrations

Dubai: As part of China’s 75th National Day celebrations, the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs Dubai (GDRFA) in Dubai extended a special welcome to Chinese travelers at Dubai International Airport.

Commemorative gifts including scarves decorated with Chinese flags, greeting cards and chocolates were distributed at the event at Terminal 1. A special reception was prepared by illuminating the length of the smart gates in the red color of the Chinese flag.

Chinese passengers were met by immigration staff and passport control officers who were fluent in Chinese. Cartoon characters Salam and Salama, along with children and their families, provided an opportunity for photos and videos at the event.

GDRFA Dubai Chief Lieutenant General Mohammed Ahmed Al Marri said that the cultural and economic ties between the UAE and China are very strong. He said that this reception was organized as part of making Dubai a culturally diverse global city.
