UAE’s Tawazun Council Signs 11 Deals Worth $1.9 Billion at Dubai Airshow 2023
The UAE’s Tawazun Council signed 11 deals worth AED 6.9 billion (approximately $1.9 billion) with local and international companies on the second day of the Dubai Airshow 2023. The council, an independent government entity working closely with the Ministry of Defence and security agencies, aims to maximize value through acquisition systems. The deals included contracts with local companies such as Black Diamond for an air defense system, Advanced Integrated Systems for aircraft maintenance services, Edge’s Earth Company for ammunition, Trust International Group for UAV systems, and more. Additionally, international contracts were signed with Raytheon, Leonardo, and CATIC for various aerospace-related services. The cumulative value of deals signed in the first two days of the Dubai Airshow 2023 is now AED 11.6 billion (approximately $3.2 billion).
