UAE Visa Amnesty: Indian Consulate to Launch Help Desk on October 27
On Friday, October 25, the Indian Embassy in Dubai announced that the Public Amnesty Assistance Center will be operational on October 27.
The notice published in X, Thootharakam informed that the help center will be open from 8 am to 5 pm.
The United Arab Emirates (UAE) visa relief effort, which began on September 1 and runs through October 30, allows undocumented visitors to exit their visas without losing their visa status or incurring fines.
Since its inception, more than 10,000 Indians have assisted in redressing the status of foreigners. It has issued 1300 passports, 1700 emergency certificates and more than 1500 exit permits.
It further said that “seekers of other services have been facilitated to obtain fare/fee waivers from United Arab Emirates officials.”
