UAE Sends Three Humanitarian Aid Convoys to Gaza Strip
This week, three convoys of humanitarian aid from the United Arab Emirates crossed the Egyptian border at Rafah and reached the Gaza Strip. As part of “Operation Chivalrous Knight 3,” the UAE is working to aid and support Palestinians in their current predicament.
More than 364 tons of humanitarian goods, including food, winter clothing, shelter tents, and other necessities, are transported by the convoys, which are made up of 29 trucks. As part of Operation Chivalrous Knight 3, 150 relief convoys, consisting of 2,319 vehicles transporting over 29,025 tonnes of aid, have now entered the Gaza Strip through the Egyptian border crossing.
In the Gaza Strip, Operation Chivalrous Knight 3 aims to support all impacted populations, with a focus on women and children. The UAE has sent 46,659 tons of essential assistance goods to the Gaza Strip since the conflict started.
